Fongo is a traditional VoIP provider. WIGGWIGG uses zero-knowledge encryption for your identity data: passwords, contacts, and personal details are encrypted on your device before they leave. Message and voicemail content protected by our current method is sealed on Canadian servers to the account communication key; a supported client opens it after sign-in and unlock. A small set retained from the private beta remains readable under our older server-side encryption until a separate re-sealing process.
Both Fongo (Ontario) and WIGGWIGG (Quebec) are Canadian, both subject to PIPEDA. WIGGWIGG is natively bilingual, with French and English built in from day one.
Fongo lets you block numbers; WIGGWIGG runs up to five checks depending on the channel and settings enabled, then combines those warnings with scheduled routing. Spam protection and call routing are one decision, not two.
