Most controls are free. The Advanced Routing add-on unlocks schedule rules and date overrides. Mix the two however your week runs.
The default action picker (forward / voicemail / auto-reply / reject) and SMS auto-reply come with every number. The Advanced Routing add-on ($3 / month / number) adds time-based rules and holiday overrides on top.
Pick what each number does when a call arrives, and that becomes the baseline for everything else.
Send the call to your verified personal phone (or another number you set). Default for new numbers.
Encrypted VoIP push wakes the iOS or Android app on whichever device you're signed in to.
Skip the ringing entirely and send straight to voicemail. Pairs with the voicemail add-on for keeping recordings.
Bounce a pre-written SMS to the caller and don't ring at all. Set this as your default action when you don't want to be reached at all.
Caller gets a busy signal. Useful for retired numbers you're holding without forwarding.
Silent disconnect. Useful for numbers you're parking until you decide what to do with them.
When the default action is auto-reply, or when an SMS comes in while you're in DND, we send a pre-written response. Useful for letting contacts know you'll get back to them, or sending pickup details for a marketplace listing.
"Out of office until July 14. For urgent matters, contact support@example.com. I'll reply when I'm back."
"Thanks for your interest in the listing. Pickup is in Mile End, weekdays after 6pm. Reply with your preferred day and I'll confirm."

Temporarily block all incoming calls and SMS on a number. Calls receive a busy signal; SMS senders can optionally receive an auto-reply. Toggle on for an evening, a vacation, or a focus session, then off when you're done.
Schedule-based routing: forward during work hours, voicemail after, by day of week and timezone. Multiple rules per number with priority order, so you can mix work hours, weekend behavior, and on-call patterns.
Any combination of Mon through Sun. Pick weekdays only, weekends, three-day-week, whatever your schedule looks like.
Per rule. Hours and minutes (HH:MM:SS in the dashboard, but you don't see that).
Each rule has a timezone (e.g., America/Toronto). Times are interpreted in that zone, so you don't have to math out daylight-saving transitions.
What happens during the rule's window: forward, voicemail, auto-reply, reject, or hang up.
What happens outside the window. Most people use 'voicemail' here.
Human-readable name for the rule ('Work Hours', 'Weekend Mode', 'On-Call Tuesday'). Shows up in your routing log.
When multiple rules overlap, lower priority wins. Lets you stack a baseline + exceptions cleanly.
One-off exceptions for specific dates. Holidays, vacation days, conference travel. The override takes precedence over your recurring business-hours rules for that day, then everything goes back to normal.
Most users start free. The add-on is for people who actually need different behavior at different times of day or on specific dates.

Forward 9-5 weekdays so customers reach you when you're working. Voicemail with transcription after hours so you don't miss anything. Add a Saturday rule with a different fallback if you take weekend appointments.
Date override Aug 12-26: auto-reply 'On vacation, back Aug 27. For urgent project items, contact my collaborator at...'. Recurring business hours kick back in automatically the day you return.
Your dating number is set to ring 6pm-10pm only, voicemail otherwise. Lets you keep the number active without it pinging you mid-meeting.
Multiple rules per number: forward to you Tue/Wed/Fri, forward to your colleague Mon/Thu, voicemail Sat/Sun. Lower-priority baseline rule catches anything not covered.
