WIGGWIGG INC. is subject to Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA); what we store is in Canada. Telephone traffic still crosses our US carrier, as it does for any phone service. Support is bilingual, English and French.
TapCall offers business hours, DND, and forwarding, which is more than most consumer apps. WIGGWIGG goes further: per-contact-label rules and date-based holiday overrides on top of per-day-of-week schedules, with four action types (forward, voicemail, auto-reply, reject).
TapCall's filtering is a manual block list. WIGGWIGG also applies up to five checks depending on the channel and your settings, and warns you about high-confidence spam before you answer. A personal block rejects the call or message when it is the most specific applicable rule.

TapCall focuses on private calling. WIGGWIGG uses zero-knowledge encryption for identity data: passwords, contacts, and personal details are encrypted on your device. Message and voicemail content protected by our current method is sealed on Canadian servers to the account communication key; a supported client opens it after sign-in and unlock. A small set retained from the private beta remains readable under our older server-side encryption until a separate re-sealing process.
TapCall isn't a Canadian company. WIGGWIGG is headquartered in Quebec, subject to PIPEDA, and built natively in English and French.
TapCall has business hours, but a single time window applies to everyone. WIGGWIGG ties contact-label rules to schedules, so different contacts can route differently inside the same business-hours window, plus date-based holiday overrides that aren't possible with a single DND block.
