Version 0.11.1

September 14, 2026 · 7 changes

A call you answer no longer ends right away as busy. On Android, the locked screen shows the details your setting allows, even when WIGGWIGG is closed, and an incoming call opens the full call screen while you are using your phone, if you allow WIGGWIGG to display over other apps. After updating, open and unlock WIGGWIGG once, on Android and on iPhone, so caller details come back to the locked screen.

These notes describe WIGGWIGG as it was when this version came out. Some changes apply only to the web app or only to the mobile apps, and mobile changes arrive with the matching app update. Prices and plans may have changed since. See current pricing

A call you answer no longer ends right away as busy

When the app came back to the foreground while it was reconnecting to the calling service, it could keep two connections at once. A call you answered was then refused as busy by one of them, and the call screen disappeared. The app now keeps a single connection at a time, so a second one can no longer hang up the call you answer.

On Android, a ringing call no longer declines itself on all your devices

When Android ended a ringing call without you touching anything, WIGGWIGG treated it as a decline: the call stopped ringing on all your devices. Now only this phone stops ringing, and your other devices keep ringing. Closing the call screen no longer ends a call either. Declining with the WIGGWIGG button still declines the call everywhere.

A call on a locked screen once again shows the details your setting allows

Each time you signed in, WIGGWIGG erased the caller-details key, which lets the caller’s number show while WIGGWIGG is locked, so a call could ring without showing anything. On Android, a call that arrived while WIGGWIGG was closed showed nothing either. Depending on your Calls on the lock screen setting, that call now shows the number, the identity it reached and, at “Ring and show caller details”, the contact name. To do this, an Android phone keeps keys readable while it is locked: the caller-details key at every level except “Don’t ring while locked”, the identity-name key at “Ring and show caller details” and “Ring, hide the name”, and the contact-name key at “Ring and show caller details”. None of them opens your vault. Open and unlock WIGGWIGG once after updating so these details come back.

On Android, unlocking during a call takes you into WIGGWIGG, and the call continues

During a call on a locked screen, the “Unlock for caller details” button sent you back to the lock screen, and you had to reopen the app to find the call again. It now asks Android to unlock the phone, then opens WIGGWIGG on your call in progress. On Android 7, the screen asks you to unlock your phone instead, then WIGGWIGG opens. A connected call no longer shows “Incoming Call” in place of the caller.
